Fall Beginner Running: 9/30 – 11/25


 La Grange:  9:00 am  and  6:30 pm

Elmhurst: 6:30 pm

All training runs depart from the store. Elmhurst Coaches Dave and Judy Polkow,  La Grange Coaches Jessica Niekrasz and Julie Hossack.

Whether you want to get into shape, improve your current fitness level, set a personal record, or just lead a healthy lifestyle, our goal is to help you achieve your goals! The training is designed to get you to the point where you can run 30-45 minutes (a 5K distance – 3 miles) at a comfortable, relaxed pace. It’s a simple, progressive program that begins with more walking than running, and gradually evolves into more running than walking.

This program offers: A professionally written, personalized training program, tailored to your goals and fitness level. Group workouts that meet at a consistent place twice per week. Experienced and knowledgeable coaches to offer guidance and answer questions about injuries, equipment, and training and to provide assistance, consistent pacing, and motivation. A group of like-minded runners to provide support and accountability. Complimentary technical tee if registered by the first day of the training.
