Meet Our Coaches

We offer two training programs for new and current runners looking to start or improve their running goals in a friendly  group environment. These programs  occur approximately four times a year and are run by our various coaches who have many levels of experience in running and in creating a healthy, progressive plan tailored to the individuals needs.

New Training Program is Here! Starts Monday June 15th

The Summer Training Program Registration is NOW OPEN and

the Orientation is Sunday, June 14th at 4:00 p.m.

Program starts on June 15th  and Runs until August 3rd 

Meets Mondays and Thursdays at 6:30pm at the store.

A  brand new couch to 5K program led by the Runner’s Soul staff and written by our own Dave Myatt, author of the Biggest Loser RunWalk Race Series training programs.

Whether you want to get into shape, learn to run, vary your current fitness routine,  or just lead a healthy lifestyle, our goal is to help you achieve your goals! This program is for people who are able to walk at least 30 minutes.

Group workouts that meet at a consistent place twice per week. Experienced and knowledgeable coaches to offer guidance and answer questions about injuries, equipment, and training and to provide assistance, consistent pacing, and motivation. A group of like-minded athletes to provide support and accountability.

Fall Beginner Running: 9/30 – 11/25

Whether you want to get into shape, improve your current fitness level, set a personal record, or just lead a healthy lifestyle, our goal is to help you achieve your goals! The training is designed to get you to the point where you can run 30-45 minutes (a 5K distance – 3 miles) at a comfortable, relaxed pace. It’s a simple, progressive program that begins with more walking than running, and gradually evolves into more running than walking.

This program offers: A professionally written, personalized training program, tailored to your goals and fitness level. Group workouts that meet at a consistent place twice per week. Experienced and knowledgeable coaches to offer guidance and answer questions about injuries, equipment, and training and to provide assistance, consistent pacing, and motivation. A group of like-minded runners to provide support and accountability. Complimentary technical tee if registered by the first day of the training.

Train With Us

 Whether you want to get into shape, improve your current fitness level, set a personal record, or just lead a healthy lifestyle, our goal is to help you achieve your goals!

Beginner Running for the new runner.  This is the “couch to 5K”.  We will start you out slow and progress you towards running a 5k or 3.1 miles.  If you’ve never run a step in your life, don’t be afraid to take your first one with us. Beginner Running is held in the spring, summer and fall for 8 weeks each.

The Runner’s Soul Training for the runner.  This program is for the runner who can run a 5K but would like to increase your spead, distance or move to the next distance.  Whether you are already running the 5K distance, want to train for a half marathon or marathon, our coaches will help you acheive these goals.  This training is seasonal, spirng summer fall and winter and runs for 10 weeks each.
