Run for 102 Race to the Finish 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run

The Run for 102 Race to the Finish 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run benefits Barnsdale Road School, Congress Park, Cossitt Avenue, Forest Road, Ogden Avenue and Park Junior High.

The District 102 PTOs/PTCs support projects to include helping teachers with supplies, books, materials in the libraries and school assemblies.  The District 102 PTOs/PTCs are non-profit organizations that raise money and work with teachers and staff to enrich the experience of our students.  They support both curricular and non-curricular projects such as beautifying our schools in addition to organizing student and family activities.

7th Annual Greater LaGrange YMCA Reindeer Run 5K

Come for the Run, stay for the animals. Join us for this chip timed 5K race through scenic Brookfield Zoo which will be decorated for the Holiday Season. Cost of the race includes admission to the Brookfield Zoo, parking, race T-shirt and post-race goodies. The Kids Dash and Walk, in addition to the run, truly makes this an event for all ages and fitness levels. Get some exercise and enjoy the Brookfield Zoo while supporting the Greater LaGrange YMCA -an active and important not-for-profit organization.

All proceeds will benefit community outreach programs of the Greater LaGrange YMCA. At the Y, we're for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

6th Annual Rotary Run 3.14 Pie

This hometown race benefitting the Rotary Club of La Grange is a great way to kick off your Thanksgiving Day with your friends and family! The Rotary Run 3.14 Pie is a pi-K, the distance is approximately 3.14 (pi – get it?). Winding through the tree-lined streets of mid-village La Grange, this is one scenic course you don’t want to miss! The race is USATF certified and chip timed as a 5K and ends at the 3.14 “Finish 4 Pie Line”.  Register soon, the first 750 registrants will receive a FREE Sara Lee pie!  Make room for the feast. 

Packet Pick Up is at the Runner’s Soul Store in La Grange until 3:00 pm Wednesday, Nov, 23R. Remember, there is no race day packet pick-up.

St. Francis Falcon 5K Run/Walk & Kids' Fun Run

A family friendly 5K (3.1 miles) run or walk on a flat, fast course through the beautiful, tree lined streets of Harding Woods in La Grange Park. Easy to spectate USATF certified courseNew electronic bib timing means your official time starts when YOU cross the 5K starting line! All ages are welcome to register for the 5K. Children 10 and under may register for the Kids' Fun Run (not timed, no official results, approx. 0.5 mile). Preschoolers through 1st graders can participate in the free Falcon 100 yard dash hosted by the Junior Falcon Club. For the safety of all participants, strollers are welcome to lineup behind the runners. No other wheels (bicycles, in line skates, skateboards, etc.) allowed except for wheelchairs. No dogs allowed. Race held rain or shine. Benefits St. Francis Xavier School, La Grange. Pre- and post race activities held inside school. 

Packet pick-up 2-7 pm Thursday (11/3) and Friday (11/4) at the Runner's Soul or on race day. Please allow ample time to make it to the start of your race if picking up your packet on race day.
